Meet the 2017 winners!

These farmers and their community organizations showed that when powerful forces come together, amazing things happen. Congratulations, Chad, Lee and Curt!

Chad from Iowa

Supporting Harris Lake Park FFA

About Chad’s photo: This is what is most important to us, second to our faith. My wife and I have four children that mean the world to us. There are times it is difficult to manage four kids, but God gives us the strength to do so. We live on the family farm, which is great for our family because I am able to spend loads of time with my kids when they come out to the shop and ride along during busy times!

We are truly blessed with the opportunity that my father has given us to farm. Hopefully we can do the same for our children some day!

Lee from Ohio

Supporting Fort Recovery FFA

About Lee’s photo: This was not a staged photo as it looks. This was me showing my son Levi our wheat. I was putting nitrogen on that day and I stopped for lunch that my wife brought out to the field. She snapped the picture without me knowing it. This picture means everything to me. This is why I farm.

We are truly blessed with the opportunity that my father has given us to farm. Hopefully we can do the same for our children some day!

Curt from Illinois

Supporting Fairfield Community High School football field

About Curt’s photo: This is my world: My four kids (ages 13, 11, 7 and 5) and wife. They are the reason I teach high school ag and am a high school FFA advisor, Little League baseball coach, Little League softball coach, junior football league coach, high school football coach, school board member, row-crop farmer and cattle farmer.
